1. Overview
Devlio respects the intellectual property rights of others. We provide a mechanism for copyright holders to request the removal of infringing content in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws.
2. How to File a Takedown Request
To request the removal of content that you believe infringes your copyright, please send a formal notification to our designated agent via the contact form with the following information:
- Identity: Your full name and contact information (email and address).
- Proof of Ownership: A clear description of the copyrighted work being infringed, including links or documentation.
- Infringing Content: The exact URL(s) on Devlio where the infringing material is located.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Electronic Signature: Your electronic or physical signature.
3. Our Process
Upon receiving a valid notification, we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the creator of the project regarding the removal.
- Allow the creator to file a counter-notification if they believe the material was removed by mistake.
4. Counter-Notifications
If your project was removed due to a DMCA request and you believe this was a mistake, you may file a counter-notification including your contact info, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court.
5. Repeat Infringers
We maintain a policy of terminating accounts of repeat infringers. Users who consistently upload infringing content will have their accounts permanently banned.
