Moderation Guidelines

1. Community Standards

To maintain a professional and supportive environment, all content on Devlio must adhere to our community standards. We believe in open sharing, but not at the cost of safety or respect.

2. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately:

• Malicious Code: Any project containing viruses, trojans, ransomware, or other software designed to cause harm or steal data.
• Illegal Material: Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activities, including cracked software or stolen intellectual property.
• Hate Speech & Harassment: Content that targets individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, orientation, or disability.
• Hate speech, explicit adult content, or graphic violence.
• Deceptive Content: Projects that misrepresent their functionality or use deceptive titles to drive downloads.

3. Moderation Process

Our moderation system consists of two layers:

• Pre-Publishing Review: All new projects and versions are reviewed by our team before becoming public.
• Community Reporting: Users can report existing projects for violations. Every report is investigated by a moderator.

4. Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take the following actions:

• Warning: For minor first-time offenses.
• Content Removal: Immediate deletion of the offending project or version.
• Temporary Suspension: Temporary restriction of account features.
• Permanent Ban: For severe or repeated violations, including malware distribution.

5. Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can appeal via the contact form. Please provide a detailed explanation and any supporting evidence.
