Verified Purchase Reviews

To ensure 100% authenticity and eliminate fake feedback, only confirmed buyers and license holders can post reviews on paid projects on Devlio. Once you purchase or receive an authorized grant for a project, the review form unlocks at the bottom of the project page.

1 to 5 Star Rating

Rate the project based on code quality, documentation clarity, and ease of setup.

Verified Buyer Badge

A green "Verified Purchase" badge is permanently attached to your review.

Editable Anytime

You can update your review score and comment whenever the creator publishes updates.

Creator Response

Project authors can reply publicly to assist with questions or confirm bug fixes.

Rating Calculation Algorithm

A project's overall rating score is computed using Bayesian weighted averages to prevent skew from isolated 1-star or 5-star votes:

FORMULA
Weighted Score = (Sum of all review ratings) / (Total number of verified reviews)

Review Guidelines & Moderation

To maintain a constructive and helpful environment, reviews must adhere to the following community standards:

  • Constructive Criticism: Detail what worked well and what could be improved.
  • No Spam or Advertising: Promotion of competing products or unrelated links is strictly prohibited.
  • No Abusive Language: Harassment, insults, or hate speech will result in immediate review removal and potential account suspension.
  • Bug Reports vs Reviews: If you encounter a minor installation issue, consider reaching out to the creator via Discord or email first before posting a low rating.

Review Extortion Prohibited: Threatening creators with 1-star reviews to demand free customization or unauthorized refunds is a severe violation of Devlio terms.
